Cover bands on YouTube are not a new thing. Infact, our culture has created a niche for these artists, inflating an ever rising standard, challenging artists to take risks, make choices and really stretch to showcase themselves through the lens of a song that has already been celebrated.
A duo going by the name of Signe & Hvetter are one of those groups that, in my oppinion, is rising to the top of the pile, as well they should. Not only are Signe's vocals rich in character like a room filled with smoking poets and Hvetter's chops sensitive yet strong, but they are savvy in such a loopy way. With the gift of technology, Signe & Hvetter turn from a duo into... pretty much whatever they need in order to make sure their creation hits all the right notes in our ears and hearts.
